Breaking Down FC 26 Season 2 Pass – Rewards vs Reality

FC 26’s Season 2 Pass doesn’t justify its high cost.

As FC 26 Season 2 rolls out, many players are asking the big question: Is the Season Pass worth it? The price is steep — 500,000 coins or 1,000 FC Points — which makes every decision count. Even with access to cheap FC 26 coins, most fans expect premium rewards for that kind of investment. After reviewing all 30 levels of the pass, the verdict isn’t encouraging.

Early rewards look appealing, with packs like 10x75 and bundles for Pro Clubs and Career Mode. However, the inclusion of multiple loan players and cosmetic items weakens the value. Ajo, the first notable card at Level 5, has only four playstyles and an average rating. It’s not a bad card, but far from special.

Progressing through the pass reveals more of the same — bundles, low-value packs, and underwhelming free players. Vazquez, the second featured player, has excellent defensive playstyles but suffers from poor pace and weak stars. Carlo Agusto, the third key reward, stands out for his flexibility across positions but is quickly outdated by market releases.

The end-game cards — Marta, Fabinho, and Rodrigo — provide a much-needed spark. Marta’s five-star skill moves make her a fun addition, and Rodrigo looks incredible with strong playstyles and versatile positioning. However, these highlights don’t make up for the overall imbalance of the reward structure. By the time you unlock these cards, the meta will have shifted.

The biggest issue is pacing and timing. Most of the rewards arrive too late in the season to feel impactful. The grind also doesn’t match the return, especially considering the cost. When compared to other ways of improving your squad — SBCs, objectives, or simply trading — the Season Pass feels inefficient.

In conclusion, FC 26’s Season 2 Pass doesn’t justify its high cost. The rewards are repetitive, the cards lack staying power, and the timing makes it less appealing for serious Ultimate Team players. Unless you’re committed to collecting everything or just enjoy the grind, you’re better off using cheap FC 26 coins for upgrades that immediately improve your team.
